Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off
During pick-up and drop-off, traffic must follow the designated loop around the parking lot. Within the loop, students may be picked up and dropped off only in the designated areas. The pick-up/drop-off areas for the students are on the south side of the building.
- Elementary: Door #2
- Middle & High: Door #3
Pick-up and drop-off areas are clearly marked. Students must not be let out of the vehicle in any spot except the designated pick-up/drop off area in order to ensure they do not walk through the parking lot. Cars cannot be left unattended in the car loop lane during drop-off or pick-up. Conferences with school officials, use of cell phones, and playing loud music while in the car loop lane is prohibited.
The area directly in front of the school is a fire lane and a No Stopping zone. If you arrive late, you will need to park your car in a designated space (not in the fire lane/no stopping zone) and escort your student(s) into the building.
Only individuals listed on the PowerSchool Emergency Contact list will be allowed to pick up students from the school. Anyone picking up a student who is not on the student’s Emergency Contact List must be approved through written authorization or a direct call from the parent/guardian before the student may leave the school grounds.
Valid photo identification will be required of all individuals picking-up students. If someone arrives at the school to seek the release of a student and the person's name is not on the emergency contact list or the person does not have valid photo identification, the student will not be released to them. If a parent/guardian does not have valid photo identification, the parent/guardian must contact the school at the beginning of the school year to discuss other options.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that information on the Emergency Contact list is promptly updated as necessary. Permanent changes to the pick-up list must be done on Power School Emergency Contact List which can be done via email, calling the office, or in-person visit to the school.
